Jin Salts

The Jin Salts is a desert in the southern stretch of the Arnasia Tribeland, south of the Land of the Deities, a relatively small area of land was victim of an ancient cataclysm. Hidden in the midst of wasteland, pockets of memories of what was once the greatest civilization of reality, remained.

Peoples[]

The Jin Salts were home to an unknown number of creatures during the Perfect Darkness, notably the Jin, from whom the Salts draw their name, and the dragons, which have survived to the present day.

Several distinct peoples are known to currently inhabit the Jin Salts, including the Inatsi and the scholarly community at Camp Luis Luissatta.

Luis Luissatta[]

Luis Luissatta's journey to Arnasia from Sentra was chronicled in Those Five Years it Took Us to Get to Arnasia, written by his first mate Jonah Barkeep. That book went down in history as the most read and highly revered epic adventure in Reality. The horrific journey killed 189 of Luissatta's travelers before they arrived in the Jin Salts.

The next thirty years was subject to the largest archaeological dig in history. Camp Luis Luissatta was established in the Jin Salts and hundreds of archaeologists dug in the ruins of the desert looking for The Truth. Along the way they found remarkable information about the Jin.

Several hundred years passed and eventually the dig became a pastime for thousands of people. Travelers from far away came every year to participate in the largest and longest archaeological dig ever. Even for people who didn't believe in the The Truth, they found solace in digging with the camp. The enterprise created the most renowned archaeological schools and the most famous historical library on the earth.

Luissatta long dead, and the The Truth yet to be discovered, the Jin Salts became an empire of a new era. The search for knowledge exploding to an worldwide scope. Buried in the first dig spot, marked on Main Street of Camp Luis Luissatta, his tomb read:
