==Worldbuilding?Have you ever finished reading a book or watching a movie/TV show and wondered what the rest of its world was like- this is were worldbuilding could trace its beginings. If its was not for J. R. R. Tolkien, Gene Roddenberry, George Lucas and countless other dreaming up their worlds, we would not have some of the most beloved universes and worlds; today. Not to forget, the countless amounts of people who spent days, weeks, months and even years creating the backstories to these works. Think about how bland Star Trek and Star Wars would be, without all of these other works.

So, let your imagination run wild, and maybe one day, we will be dreaming up stories and writing novels about your worlds.

Guildlines: *Respect the Basilicus Convention

Try not to contribute materials on existing worlds, locations or species native to Earth: this is a completely fictional setting.

Try not to use Earth-bound concepts of measurements. We ask that you use Basilicus Weights and Measures for the time being, (a new weight and measurement system is in the works), instead of feet, meters, minutes, etc.

Utilize formats laid out in the different Building Guide Pages

If you change something in an article, make sure that it is changed in all other applicable articles. Everything in Basilicus Prime should be consistent and accurate with itself as if it was an actual place.

Before changing a concept, think of adapting your own first or discuss it on the discussion page of the article. There may be a reason for the community to have something a certain way.

Find unwritten locations in existing articles and start creating.

If you have a question go to the discussion tab of the page and ask. The community will respond and help you out.

Do not include any copyrighted material or images in these articals. They will conflict with the GFDL copyright license.

Basilicus uses the GFDL license. News Basilicus is in the process of a complete overhaul. The original Basilicus contained four main projects: Science Fiction, Fantasy, RPG and Fiction Writing. This is attributed to its roots in the PHPBB and PbP communities. As time progress, it was determined that trying to recreate the same kind of setup on a wiki, might not be the best format.

So, the Basilicus will be combining its Sci/fi and Fantasy projects into the Basilicus Prime Galaxy. This will mean that the main focus on Basilicus, is to create a luxuriously detailed galaxy; teeming with life and all the things that go with it. Project BRPG is moving to: BRPG and most of the fiction writing has moved to: Fiction Wikia. This will entail great deal of work, cleaning, updating and creating pages for the Basilicus. So please, dive in and lets make The Basilicus Prime Galaxy the great and interesting site it should be.

Reasons why the homepage has been changed. Several items on the main page were longer needed: www.rpg.basilicus.org no long exists. The BRPG will most likely move off of this Wikia. There were several links to the same place, but at times, they were confusing. The formating has been brought more inline with Wikia syntext. There have only been a few changes to the main page and it was do for a new look.
