Overview[]
The life around Srandri does not inhabit the three planets which revolve around the star, but actually live in space stations that revolve around Srandri like planets. The three planets, named Devond I, II, and III respectively, are gas giants. The planets were given the name Devond, the Srandri word for devoid, rather recently. The people, commonly called Tredrifer (Srandri for drifter), had once lived on a rich and luscious planet called Srandri I. In negligence of the planet and hatred caused by a strict caste system the people warred and ended up destroying their own planet. The remaining people pulled together and built large stations from little ones that were floating about. The Tredrifer stations are all owned by a corporation that has named itself The Srandri Empire. Owning all the livable area in the system has given them power like none could ever hope to obtain. They abuse this power at the rage of the general populace. Most visitors form other systems seeing this, and knowing of Tredrifer's past speculate that the public will inevitably repeat mistakes of old and destroy themselves.
