Veto Mortem[]
The position of Veto Mortem makes it a statistical outlier: it is nearly twice as far above the galactic plane (seven standard deviations) as the second-farthest-out star in the galaxy, BP1-0914.
The system itself is about 2 billion 600 million years old (7 billion Earth Years), though life did not appear on Mortem V until 1 and a half billion years (4 billion Earth Years) after the system's creation. The initial life was not much different from that of Earth's early life, but over time based creatures evolved and became the dominant form of life on the planet. (The other forms of life on Mortem V are Carbon based, (like life on Earth) Silicon based, and Water based.)
