The smaller of Hexar's two moons, Zerraphenos means "Grey Moon" in Dorenum. It is composed mostly of silicon, oxygen and titanium. It has no atmosphere nor any bodies of liquid water, although some frozen water has been discovered in underground pockets.
Zerraphenos is not populated, although it is home to a few mining operations and the research station Aludep Zerra which accommodates over 6,000 scientists. Many of these are Hexarian, but a few have come from myriad worlds across the Sovlicar Arm.
